fire update:

Kincaid fire is up to 21.9K acres, with 5% containment. Approximately 50 structures burned including a dozen homes. PG&E ain't ****, once again their faulty equipment is to blame for the entire thing. Winds are expected to pick up to 70mph this weekend, so far only one town has needed to evacuate.

It’s not a bad thing at all. Clears out the people and heals the soil. Mother Nature is reclaiming California with fire and Florida with water. I’m all for it.

I think it’s unfair to lay complete blame on the power company

After the BP Horizen oil disaster everyone here went crazy against BP and I was like you knooooow we all use oil and we all know what it does. I’m all for hating big corporations but not with a reason that absolves us all. The rich are first to the gulag but we are all with sin. BP Shell Exxon... like it matters
