And we had this one teacher in 10th grade who came in all enthusiastic and new to the trade. She had to be in her late 30s or early 40s but she was relatively young looking. Very enthusiastic and the kind who tries to be friends with the kids.

Over the course of that one semester I watched her wear down. Saw grey hairs popping up by the end of it. Wasn't quite how you see in Dangerous Minds etc.

Actually we're talking south Florida so there were plenty of Hispanics as well. And more Haitians than African Americans.

After we got sentimental after that earthquake some schools went from 3 Haitians to 700. I always thought, uh, you know they’ve been starving for decades right

Yea Haiti is ****ed. I don't see any way to fix Haiti. They decimated their natural resources and now their shores are eroding cause they chop down any trees they can etc. They started as a slave rebellion iirc. The first island to rebel and give the boot to the colonists. They never had the means to create a real nation state in the first place I don't think.

Slept in today until 9am since I was up late watching that Iowa game, they lost

good game though.

Made a mistake yesterday ordering a book with the gift card from my birthday. I thought I wanted Robert Greene's 48 laws of power book again. I gave it to my aunt and she lost it, she says someone stole it. So I bought it again but I've read half it already, I should have bought his "Mastery" book.

I still have $5 on the card, so maybe ill just shelf the first book and go buy the "Mastery" because from what I've gathered is the 48 laws book is just simple things where I think Mastery will be more "useful" because I can apply to Machining...

Plans are for meatloaf at my parents this evening, this pull bar up has been a huge success too. I might track my pull ups using a chart in excel since I learned that in my computer class way back. Ill post in the future if I do that.

I watched obscene amounts of football with the sound down and listened to several hours of music all from 2019. I also took cold medicine and Xanax and drank monster energy drinks so I got pretty loopy.
