Haha. I'd seen it before too and it also makes me laugh every time. I had not, however, read the t-shirt one and that is just as brilliant.

Sequoioideae 11-28-2013 07:34 PM

Had a good turkey day with my family, good conversation and all that. I fixed up my mom's soon to be guitar a bit, sanded the nut and gave it a good truss rod adjustment. Really excited to see her get it.

Franco Pepe Kalle 11-28-2013 10:27 PM

I was with my brother's friend Jessie. It was a good time and I was happy brother. Just celebrated 15th anniversary death of PEPE KALLE. I put many of his songs today. He was a great musician and I love his music dearly.

Today was a day of baking. Made some mince pies, an apple and blackberry crumble, and some chocolate and almond brownies.

Sansa Stark 11-29-2013 11:03 AM

Today I'm baking and drinking :)

Burning Down 11-29-2013 11:05 AM

I'm also going to bake today. There must be something in the air.

Sparky 11-29-2013 11:20 AM

depends on the lengths that you want to go to get back at the person. Me personally, I just cut them off and ignore them.

I don't want to spend anymore time and energy on them they aren't worth it.

there are a few states in the US where if you have a severe illness (and you're not expected to live more than 6-8 months) and your pain is so unbearable that all you're doing is suffering, you can sign for doctor-assisted suicide.

there are other places (I think one is Switzerland) where anyone found to be of sound mind, with clear reasoning, can choose to die with the assistance of a doctor.

They are pretty strict in NZ about assisted suicide, you can get jail time if you do. My nana has a tumour (not sure if cancer because nana hates hospitals), arthritis, had breast cancer and breasts removed but she still moves around, looks after 7 cats that she has to keep apart bevause the tom's rape the females even though they've been fixed up by the vet. Because of that she's not classified to be allowed to die.

Had a strangely good birthday at work today. Got in an hour and a half late so just added that on at the end, which was the first time I had done a "late" in the store (getting delivery out etc.). Also nice eating all the treats the girls brought in :)

I guess it would be traumatic for the animals to lose their mom, but she sounds so miserable. I'm sorry she has to face each day with so much pain. :(

I couldn't come home for thanksgivin til yesterday cause of work. Huge great meal followed by football and a nap. Then went out with friends I haven't seen in months. At the bar saw more ppl I haven't seen in years. Didnt bog each other down with the usual work talk. Just a real chill atmosphere andveveryone havin a good time. Even saw my cousin whos back from the marines... really just a fulfilling 24 hours

Frownland 12-01-2013 11:23 AM

I had quite a fun Thanksgiving weekend with last minute camping trip with a group of friends out to Ocotilla Wells. I had not seen a few of my friends in about three years because they're enlisted. Met a ****load of cool new people as well. We rented a jeep and did some fun offroading stuff and only flipped it once (no one got hurt, thankfully). Drinks were heavy, smoke was steady, and all in all it was way better than the Thanksgiving I would have had at home. I really needed that break from the routine.

I bought myself a christmas gift. 39' 1080p Samsung. I put a five year warranty on it too. My blu rays look like Jesus farts. I'm happy.

djchameleon 12-01-2013 01:48 PM

I bought myself a Christmas gift this weekend too. It should be here in a few days.

I couldn't resist not picking this up. I have had the launch blue version of a 3DS for so long.

Also I had a pretty decent Thanksgiving. I actually spent it with family instead of spending it alone like I normally do. I stayed at my aunt's place and then went with her over to her cousin's place to have a second Thanksgiving dinner and drank a bit too much rum.

Nice! Was that a Black Friday deal? In hindsight I should have sprung for the 3DS XL, but I'm quite happy with my regular one.

I think it is just a bundle that they released with the launch of the new Zelda game. I didn't get it for a reduced price or anything. It was about 220 and it's coming with a download code for the new Zelda game. You may still be able to pick up one as long as it isn't sold out yet.

Aww thanks hun, you are so sweet!

I hope my nana does suffer for too much longer, it's awful to see someone you care about suffering. :(

I was looking at them online, but I may just pick up the new Zelda game instead.

I went through that same thought game back and forth but in the end. I decided to just go for it.

It will be nice to have XL version, I've had the same one since launch about two years ago and it's friggin' Zelda even though the black Zelda one that game out looks pretty sweet also it isn't XL version :(

I really prefer the black one.

Yeah that one definitely has nicer detail. The gold one is nice but I see why you prefer the black one. I just have a purple 3DS. My brother has the XL and yeah, it is quite nice.

Did you get the OoT re-release with that one?

So are you!

I read somewhere that sometimes, people who are so in love for most of their lives can literally die of a broken heart when their partner passes. It's so sad, but oddly romantic.

Awww that's so sad. I think it was probably the case with my grandparents. I really want to have that kind of love. My cats who lived at my nana's when we moved, died one after the other as Pippin pined from losing his brother Jaffa.

Poor little kitty.

My grandma had a couple of cats when I was a little girl - they died within weeks/months of each other. The 2nd one to die had some sort of liver disease, but I'm still convinced that he died because he missed his sister so much.

I absolutely agree. I have heard of this so often, it's so sad seeing a kitty mourning for his/her relation who's passed away. My nana's dog used to pine every night at 5pm as that was the time my granddad would arrive home. The problem was that granddad died and the dog would be noticeable upset.

That's exactly why I can't imagine anyone would ever think animals are incapable of emotion, or that humans are so far above them in some way. I look at animals and I see so much love, it almost makes me cry. They are so sweet.

They have to have emotion! Why else would a dog be so protective of his owner? They are incredible creatures, we can't possibly know everything about them. I find myself feeling closer to a cat than people sometimes.

Exactly! Even cats like to cuddle with their parents and siblings when they're sick. I've always felt more appreciation for animals than people; I've always seen more wonder and love in the eyes of animals, compared to most of the dead-eyed people I encounter daily...

Yip, animals give unconditional love, they cuddle you, cats purr and rub against you and they meet you at the door when you arrive home! I'd prefer cats over humans every time. They are better flatmates (they poop outside), they don't leave the toilet seat up, they don't take up much room and they don't leave unclean dishes for someone else to clean up.
