Thrive Internet Marketing Agency? I actually interviewed with them after applying on a job board lol. They weren't willing to pay me anything reasonable.

1) No the advice I have offered is so basic and common sense that there's prestige behind giving it. And really lately I've only given it in response when you start trying to preach hopelessness to me.

2) it's beyond you not wanting advice. You also resent any sign of hope or positive thinking I have about what i feel I can change in my own life. You're not just rejecting self help, you're promoting misery.

At the time, they needed someone who would work directly at their campus in Grapevine on-site for their programmatic accounts (and they had a lot at the time). I had the right background and could show up there consistently, so salary was 70K plus benefits. They said if I was willing to stay more than 2 years there were other perks down the line, but I was able to jump off and do my own thing about a year-ish later.

If I had lived in some other city though, that opportunity wouldn't have been available. I'm not sure how many campuses they have total, but when I was there they were hiring reps in practically every major city.

They offered me $25k for a full time remote SEO specialist position, which I can get at a less stressful minimum wage job in California and is ridiculously low for that position.

that was a typo. It was supposed to say no prestige.

Honestly man it's the kind of advice addicts give other addicts. It's just positive reinforcement. If you don't want to hear it from me then I'll make a deal: don't preach hopelessness to me and I won't preach self improvement to you.
