Time adds up but you don't.

idk if I suck at math so much as I've had so little interest in it in my life outside of cramming for the entrance exam that I have to reteach myself everything
  • CRC math handbook
  • Index cards.

Write down what you need to learn & memorize on index cards, like in a Q&A form. Q on one side, A on the other. Go through them separating them in two piles: ones you know, and ones you don't. It's works for anything: vocabulary, foreign language, history etc Keep going through them till you know them. You can always go back to them to see if you have forgotten something. Basically you managing your time, concentrating on things you need to know. Not spending time on things your already know.

There are a lot of YouTube channels that devoted to Math, but it's more trivia stuff but they can soak up a lot of time. That is why I mention CRC, or any math reference book, or text book glossary (whether you find in a library or online). You need something that cuts to the chase when want to look something up.

Try Khan academy. You just have to memorize and understand the rules and then practice doing problems so you become familiar with the ways you are likely to make mistakes.

I know it can be boring at first but it is a good way to develop problem solving skills. I sucked at math in high school cause I never took the time to really understand the rules. Once I took algebra in college I did fine cause I took the time to learn them.

if you aren't a science and/or math major, literally never, that's when

Math sucks, I hate it

I don't like following rules
I'm usually good at math it's all just formulas and once you know the formula it's easy. Granted the highest education I got was, I think precalculus, (like advanced algebra and geometry mixed) but all I did to pass that class since we had no other assignments was read the math book the day before the test, do 10 problems of each lesson and I passed the test missing only 1 question. I don't remember **** about it because of that lazy approach. I was also invited to go to an academy for advanced mathematics and engineering too. I have no clue what happened to that and why I never went.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

It's pretty useful for pricing and determining supply.

Yeah, math is boring most of the time. And teachers assume it's because you don't feel challenged but no it's just ****ing boring.

Then you don't understand the essence of math. I think it's the laziest subject there is. Every mathematician can tell you that one of the core concepts of math is elegance, and in this context elegance is all about solving problems in the most efficient way possible by finding clever tricks instead of doing boring, long, repetitive calculations. That is also the reason why it's not boring. Besides, the elegance makes it truly beautiful.
