ladyislingering 11-12-2013 09:59 PM

it was a really slow day at work, so maintenance in my department was a breeze.

unfortunately we only made 4k in sales, so I was let go an hour early.

however, that's good 'cause now I'm home with my sweetie.

dude, no.

no, no, no.

if you're really thinking it's time to end yourself, you need to read this.

and this.

that's what'll become of you.

believe me, that's the stuff I read when my depression tries to trick me into thinking I'm not worth anything, when my mind tries to make me believe nobody wants me around, or that I have no purpose in this world. that's what I look for when I need to remind myself of the weird stuff that would happen to me if I killed myself, and how it would affect the people around me who love and care about me (because I know they do, and my brain can fuck right off, with its stupid chemical disorders and mean bullshit).

Taxman 11-13-2013 02:38 AM

Well, gladly, it is not that serious this time. But it's just depressing when, everything you are doing is going terribly wrong...and you really are unable to even try

That's an old song. I was listening to that six months ago.

Taxman 11-13-2013 04:14 AM

Blah, six months is too long ago. Dude, you are living in the past. Wake up.

Oh Fred, you know our love could never be

besides I'm thinking about bailing on him again, his kinks just don't line up with mine. He says he loves me, how many times can I do this without compromising that tho

wow that was an incredibly poor choice in terms of cheering someone up. thats weird if thinking about your autopsy helps you to cope with depression. my advice to the other dude; sack the **** up. welcome to earth, no one said it would be a picnic.

I never said it cheered me up any, just knowing that my corpse will be at the disposal of a stranger someday, but it brings me back down to earth knowing that depression tricks us into romanticizing the most devastating fact of our existence: we will all die, and it is not pretty.

Maybe death is a return home. The Chinese philosopher, Chuang Tzu, said that. And maybe he's right.

Plankton 11-14-2013 11:48 AM

Today is band practice. Usually I get there early to clean up, set things up, etc. but I was delightfully surprised to find that our singer took it upon herself to rearrange, and clean and she took some pics and posted em up on bookface. Looks like I'll have time to get a few beers in me before we start.

First practice since August. Gig coming up on the 23rd of this month.

yay

Mr. Charlie 11-14-2013 11:49 AM

Do you play guitar in the band?

Its a GG Allin cover band. He just jerks off and throws feces on everybody.

Mr. Charlie 11-14-2013 04:44 PM

Just? What do you mean just? What more could any man want? Tuggin' the goat and flingin' your poo, that's the precipice of human evolution right there. One step further and you fall into Buddhahood.

We throw in some Dayglo Abortions too.

Went pretty good last night. My ears are still ringing. Lots of stains on the rug, and I can't wash the smell off my hands.

Its awesome. Best drummer in punk rock currently. Don't listen to the live footage. Keith Morris can drone on about anything for about ten minutes and make it unbearable.

Dr_Rez 11-15-2013 11:37 AM

Best drummer in punk rock is like picking your favorite turd in the toilet.

Surely you jest. Some of the best drummers on the planet in my eyes. Maybe a lack of rudimentary use, but the speed and dynamics involved match just about any genre. But to each his own certainly.

Sansa Stark 11-15-2013 12:06 PM

Its actually usually the guitarist/vocalists that are scuzz****s, with the rhythm section holdin it down

A drummer is supposed to keep the rhythm, right? And while I do not like punk rock that much, at least I don't like hardcore punk, one off my favourite drummers ever is Tommy Ramone. His playing was so simple and, it was enough. Just keep it simple.
Okay now one may say Ramones were never punk band, at least they had not that attitude, but this is completely off-topic and also it doesn't really matter.
