I think there are a lot of polls that show this sort of thing. On average blacks and Hispanics are religious and relatively conservative on many issues.

Their economic interests are more left wing but people don't usually vote based on economics.

A lot time people socially constructed darker than eggshell probably don’t vote because no one is offering to represent their cultural and economic interests.

the ones who do vote are almost monolithically Democrats mainly because the republican party is perceived as racist.

And many lower class whites vote Republican because they think they are more on their side.

Economics generally takes the back seat to questions of value and identity.

No, I live right next to Virginia Beach and the world's largest naval base in an area of seven cities and 1.7 million people. It's not NYC but it's definitely not the country.
