what are you basing it on?

I suppose there's an element of homophobia and sexism

Just an element huh

Being pro gun and anti abortion seems common enough too.

I always thought of 'the blacks' as people with independent thought just like the whites.

Human rights are subjective like your morals. Hmmm

I don't know, overwhelming anecdotal evidence combined with similar overwhelming anecdotal evidence from anyone I've seen give an opinion on the matter? Talking about economic, religious, and social values with your average black person tends to not be that much different than talking with a working class white Republican.

I agreed to play guitar at a wedding after getting an email last night from a friend. Just Canon in D as the bride walks down the aisle, so not too big of a deal. I haven't played in months and I'm not really motivated to play these days, but it's nice to just be asked.

I'll probably keep it simple and traditional, but I do have the urge to go off the rails a bit.

That sounds like a nice thing to be able to do for a couple for their wedding
