We don't have the moral obligation to import anyone into this country. Importing some people is both good for us and good for them. Importing everyone is just bad for us.

I don't know if they will or they won't. The preferable scenario is whiteness just becomes less important in general.

My original point was more that Republicans have been trying to recruit Hispanics and blacks cause they fear the demographics will render them irrelevant. So I believe they would be less hard line on immigration etc if they were more confident in these trends.

It'd be a good strategy, especially given the religiosity of those two demographics, but I don't see it happening right now.
