Well, done Key! I'm pleased to hear things are going well for you - mainly for your sake but partly because it's refreshing to hear from someone who gets a sense of satisfaction from their job. This thread usually carries so many negative reports from the US job front. I understand that those reports are justified, but it's good to know that decent jobs do still exist in the US - I was beginning to doubt it.

They exist. I just try to have a really good work ethic on top of that. No reason to go into work to feel like **** every day. I try to make it fun. And it is. And thanks! Things have certainly been going well on the job front. |

Love ya Key
Glad your job is working out Honestly, I don’t know the ends and outs of your politics but it’s easy to feel like capitalism works when things are rolling your way. A new boss or a policy change is all it takes to kill career.

The reason market capitalism replaced mercantilism was because the decentralized nature of the market was more competitive than the old order. Under feudalism, private property still existed. It was just more strictly allocated. And the caste system that existed was such that even if you became a relatively wealthy merchant (Marx's bourgeoisie), you could still have zero political clout if you were not nobility. But the fact that this merchant class started to emerge even prior to the old regime being over thrown demonstrates that the market was already trending in that general direction. |

Hit up the central library sale at 8:30 sharp and scored an instant French Impressionist Audio Collection including Debussy, Ravel, Satie, and Faure with four of the five volumes from EMI Classics France comprising unparalleled performances by Aldo Ciccolini.
And as an added surprise bonus - a modern classical EP by Ólafur Arnalds and the chillwave debut album by Youth Lagoon. Total cost: $7.00. Now all I need is a CD player...
