I work in a thrift store, and I can tell you that there is a lot of stuff behind the scenes that nobody sees. 50% of what we get gets put on the floor, but that's only if the item we want to sell is really messed up. There are times when we take the time to fix and clean something up.

Hehe, it can be tied up though if people want to see my ass. Lol at arse. My mom is a Catholic and I have totally ruined her great upbringing by saying words like sh*t and the phrase "get out of there you bastard" (usually to something like a fly or a cup). It makes me laugh everytime.

It's a nice store. There's nice things in it, unique little pieces. I'm always finding cool stuff. I've always loved thrifting because I'm cheap and sometimes you can find some cool vintage stuff that some moron was silly enough to toss out. Plus the company I work for doesn't get their stuff from Salvation Army (don't even get me started on my hatred for them). We get our stuff from the community and reputable charities, and we pay it all forward. :thumb:

My hair is actually past my buns. I sit on it if I'm not careful. If I sit on the floor, my hair is maybe 4-5 inches of slack on the ground. I enjoy it, and people go crazy over it.

that much hair seems like a lot of work when you need to wash and dry it.

I wash it every 3-4 days, otherwise it'd be dried out and pretty unhealthy. I don't use hair dryers, and I rarely ever use my straightening iron. I don't use curling irons or hairspray. I alternate between wearing it down or wearing it in low pigtail braids.

It's a lot of work but I love it.

Not really, I've decided that I like Star Trek better and have an uber crush on Spock. There is even a street named Vulcan in my city, but it's named after a plane dammit. Mom already claimed Captain Kirk, I find a Spock crush way more logical. ;)

Today I learned some old military personal from the Vietnam war time period really loved their ganja. My 60 year old coworker went on about how when he was in South America where there were plants as tall as a tree, a reddish god color, and how you could pluck off dry leaves right off the plant due to the climate.

Dem Navy guys really liked their stuffs.

They used to hold signs down with sandbags. The soldiers would replace multiple sand bags with extremely good weed instead of the sand and smoke it out of shotguns. They also never shot heroine because it was so pure they could just smoke it with some weed.
