So my step dad is a blathering idiot that can hardly read and can't do anything beyond basic math so he doesn't handle money at all and leaves it up to my mom who is also a bit of an idiot but is a really good accountant. Because of his blind faith and idiocy I found that my mom has a secret bank account that he doesn't know about with $20,000 saved up and I think it's hilarious.

Well I got over 12,000 steps darting around the dishroom, today.

That’s a lot of movement but at least from my first impression it’s way less physically demanding than cutting all that fish in my last job. Plus they have AC. My last job had no AC in the kitchen and a busy kitchen without AC in Florida is ****ing sadistic. Holding a knife for hours without reprieve is really hard. I didn’t touch a sharp object all day today. Other employees were listening to headphones in the dishroom but the crew chief said you can’t. I’m going to get around that. I’m just going to deny there’s music playing or I have a medical reason like migraines or something. Are there headphones disguised as hearing aids?
