There but for the grace of god go I. Thank God I was completely sober or things could have gone horribly different.

I'm honestly more shocked that a five lane one way road exists in this country. Or is that just a different way to say a highway?

It’s such and such highway yeah but it goes from one lane to three to five back to three back to one in like two miles. It expands right there because it’s a very popular exit off a major interstate and if it clogs so does the interstate.

But yeah - the roads down here are really different than up where you are.

It was wonderful day that made me feel grateful to be alive and thankful that there are people who like me as I am and almost hitting that guy ain’t hitting him. I wasn’t upset about it except for him and that doesn’t do him no good but there are more and more homeless around here every damn day. Great economy my ass. It looks more like India every ****ing day.

i'm working a community outreach event on saturday so i'm only working a half day tomorrow and will be off at noon, my dog will be in daycare, and my landlord will be at my house working on the washing machine. i've got like 20 bucks. how do i maximize this rare free time since i can't just be at home doing what i actually want to be doing?

cut grass today and AGAIN it was brutal. working out 7 days a week and then trying to just randomly add this huge ass yard into the mix. it was like hiking up hill the whole time since my legs were sore, plus my legs were weak but i got it all cut short and it looks nice  https://boxden.com/smilies/tv6aijN.png

now im going to spend some time with my parents since they are leaving for maine. my mom cancelled chicken and potatoes, so maybe subway or chinese food. not many options in a small town for dinner. they have a really fancy italian food store that has a nice reputation but i honestly think their cheese pizza is wack asf :/ too greasy, which makes the cheese not stick to the damn bread of the pie :banghead: then their brickini sandwich is messy asf too, the brickini is amazing though, its just hard to eat because its messy.

booked my flight to iowa at the end of the month :pimp:

it was ****ing extra to have a "carry on bag" i clicked the "personal item" which will be my damn backpack. crazy how it cost MORE to just bring a bag. who doesnt travel with a bag ... https://boxden.com/smilies/xesGRMT.png

edit: problem solved, ill just mail shoes and clothes ahead of the trip

It’s amazing this kind of **** doesn’t drive more people to violence.

I get there are crazy outbursts of murderous violence everyday but considering how much needling the typical person has to endure the vast majority of people are very tempered.

I was browsing washing machines and on half of them they won’t tell you the price until you put it in the cart (online).

One time I couldn’t figure why it was so hard and expensive to get a part for my car. It turned out that GM had not only discontinued the part but they didn’t allow anyone else to make it either. You’re from Iowa and a machinist, you probably know they do that **** to farmers all the time. Make it hard af to replace a simple but not easily replicated single part of a big expensive machine. Those farmers are smart ****ers so they find ways to work around that **** but it still wastes their time and energy and they shouldn’t ****ing have to do it.
