It isn't any more of a "scam" than Monster or any of those job board sites are. It's just a means to an end if you want to save yourself some time looking for remote work. https://www.homeworkingclub.com/flexjobs-review
If you think you have viable skillset for different types of positions, you could always go talk to some of those placement companies, headhunters, whatever. |

I'm not saying this is a guaranteed to work idea but every single job I've ever had, and I've had many, was because I walked into a place and talked to somebody. F*ck those headhunting places and f*ck job search sites. They work sometimes but I feel like nobody actually tries to just walk in and ask if a place is hiring and if they could talk to a manager. Sh*t, I got drunk at a bar and asked my bartender for a job and I was working the next night.
Works sometimes is all I'm saying and it's free. |

I was mocking the use of the term "scam" just because you don't get their business model. Everything about them and how they work is publically available and easy to understand if you have something greater than a 5 second attention span. https://www.flexjobs.com/faq
There's plenty of ways to apply for jobs out there, and FlexJobs aren't even the only job curator out there. But hey, go try out some different methodologies and see what works best. There are no guarantees in life. |
