I think you reframe other people’s positions without the nuance to simplify and strawman.

I also don’t think you’re as doomed as I thought. It’s smack junkies that I’ve seen die without fail. Other **** is bad, too though.

I don’t think it should be off the table at all. Desegregation caused a lot of problems that are still unsolved.

A common misconception is that because racism is bad integration has to be good. Very solid arguments can be made for separatism.

Yeah

You can also go on VERY long streaks where making the right choices is painfully negligibly beneficial. After a few years of no payoff, yeah you start to feel pretty ****ing cynical.

They tell me the right choice is salad but I know carne asada fries are better. So I go with the fries. Best choice I've ever made.

Edit: I don't know if I had a point I just really like carne asada fries.

^ Yeah, to be an Uber driver requires more commitment than you might imagine: an expensive car, a clean appearance and a polite manner. Because they have this star-grading system you can find yourself bumped from Uber if you're not taking enough rides or failed to polish your hubcaps before setting out: happened to a relative of mine.

A sidegig for OH could be teaching English online. Though I've never tried it myself I think the pay per hour is pretty good when you've established yourself. You offer your services on a forum and if someone takes the bait and likes their class, they'll give you a good rating. Thus your forum profile looks better and you can crank up your fees.

You can probably start with less outlay than for Uber: i'm guessing:-
- webcam plus mike
- book of grammar
- haircut
- backcloth to hide the disaster zone that is your living quarters

If that's happening I think it's cause the same is being done to my position so I perceive your position as **** trying to improve yourself.

I never did get into opiates. My dad died of cancer and left me with a **** ton of oxy, codiene, promethazine etc. As well so some fetanyl patches. I threw the fetanyl away and did the rest till I ran out. Then never tried to get more.

This was in South Florida around 09/10 when Xanax and oxy were starting to over take crack as the number one street drug. I went to a pill Mill once and scored a bunch for my friend who was dealing...I just never quite caught the bug.

that's not at all different from what I said you just rearranged it. Certain things are outside your hands, certain things are in your hands. I think focusing on how you deal with the things you can control is the productive way to deal with this.
