My mom tried working as a driver for Pizza Hut a while back and came to the conclusion that the wear and tear on the car outstripped any money she was making in the long run. Sounds like it would be true for Uber drivers as well if she was right.

Or perhaps younger people just don't factor in car maintenance into expenses when doing driving jobs.

Or perhaps they do but the money is worth it. Neither of us knows first hand.
All I'm saying is pizza delivery seems like worse money. They get what... Around minimum wage plus tips? Plus Uber drivers work the hours they want and take the specific requests that they want. You don't have to pick up anyone you don't feel like picking up. |
