We try not to. It only causes trouble.

I have an up-to-date resume and drafts of a cover letter/letter of interest at all times. I've never not needed one when job searching.

And you'll go to the gulag with the rest of them.

I just saw them at the gas station

I've seen them and the other rapper chips. I really need to actually read Simulcra and Simulation cause I feel like I'd have something smart to say if I had.

In my experience automation is to blame for having to upload a resume while also being required to fill out all the information on the resume into the web application. They let the algorithms spit out the top candidates so the humans only have to look at 3-5 relevant resumes. So you might be fully qualified for the job but if you don't fill out the web form completely or correctly no one ever sees it. It's a faulty system but again, in my experience, hiring managers/teams don't know what the fuck they're looking for in the first place so we might as well have computers do our hiring for us - at least the algorithms can't be charmed by dipshits.

Being a dip**** charmer used to be my bread and butter.

I get emails and calls for jobs all the time from recruiters salivating at the mouth because they saw my resume on line. I'm very comfortable where I'm at though.

I feel this. I tell everyone who picks up an application at work to add an additional resume if you have one. Gives the manager more to work in terms of deciding for an interview. Also shows that the applicant puts in the extra effort to make a good impression.

I’m going to put a fake resume on linked in and waste my time wasting other people’s time. I might even charge the competition.
