^ No, so teaching experiences are likely to be different of course.
^ On the topic of telling a girl that she's beautiful, I was curious enough to find an online article written by a girl:
Quote:
The 5 Compliments Every Girl Really Wants To Hear From A Guy
1. “THE WAY YOU *insert specific mannerism here* IS REALLY ADORABLE.”
2. “CAN I GET YOUR OPINION ON SOMETHING? YOU ALWAYS HAVE SUCH A GREAT PERSPECTIVE.”
3. “I FEEL SO COMFORTABLE WITH YOU, LIKE I CAN REALLY BE MYSELF.”
4. “YOU TASTE AMAZING.”
5. “EVERY GUY IN THIS ROOM HAS BEEN STARING AT YOU.”
|
^ So, some things about beauty, but a lot that is more subtle/perceptive. I feel like this vindicates both us really - turns out that we are both right.
EDIT: Plus what DWV has just posted: sometimes compliments work, sometimes they come across as inappropriate. Not exactly "winner every time" as you suggested.

^ Very glad to hear this. If you ever feel that I'm picking on you, it's only because, as well as being outspoken, I see you as a mature, intelligent and responsive poster.
