I mean to each their own but at least I'm happy, comfortable in my relationship, have friendships that make me feel like a consistently better person, am not coked up, and am not trapped into thinking my partner is "my other half in another body."

I'm not telling Elph to have a "traditional life." I'm just saying the dude ain't happy, but he's too dull to realize it. I'm happy with my life, and that's all I'm really looking for. I lived enough of my life without safety or emotional wellbeing, so what I've got now feels like heaven.

I don’t want elph to OD or get in a car accident or whatever but I mean he’s young and he lives like a young man should, passionately

I’m kind of dissing you but I don’t really want to but I feel more inclined to warn you than elph - a teaching career is nowhere - it was the worst and most pathetic decision I ever made

I regret going into teaching far more than using coke and driving drunk and one night stands

In fact, I don’t regret any of it except wasting my time pretending I was ever going to teach those little ****ing [bleeps] anything at all - i basically put myself in prison

I feel you dude and hey maybe it'll still suck ass and make me feel like ****. But I ain't there yet, and I've honestly enjoyed it so far.
