As soon as one of my family members starts their job at Southwest I'll be able to fly anywhere they go for free.

The last time I was in Amsterdam was 1988. Pretty sure things have changed a bit since, but it was filthy. I had a great time though. Oh, and the chicks in the windows are NOT what you're getting. Just a heads up.

I think the most obvious change is that Amsterdam gets busier and busier, it's one big touristfest. But of course it's still pretty great

I've been purposely isolating myself for the past few months. Haven't seen friends, haven't even talked to them. Just been a mess and my birthday passed last week. I'm simply more comfortable being alone and left to think to myself. Working a lot tho. Absolutely killing it at work. Been working a ton of overtime. So paychecks are nice. think that's pretty much it tho.

isolation feels comfortable when it's your most reliable coping mechanism, but being alone with your thoughts can be a great thing for reflection and energy centering but it can also be really damaging if you get stuck in your head for too long. i'm glad you're here at least!
