Don't worry, it's just corny.

He said he can’t control the chef and I said tell him if he mentions it to me I’m quitting and he was like ok.

I’m not working at that ****ing outpost station.

The reason I object to it is because it’s all isolated over there and it’s way more labor. Someone else can take the exile to Siberia.

I’m gonna say right now I don’t want people here cutting jokes on me for this either

If y’all aren’t gonna let me dish it out I don’t want to take it either

I’m serious

I’m so happy when they leave me to it. I understand that being flexible is important but to them you’re not flexible enough if you still have a spine.

Sigh. I feel like everyone is going to say yeah when occult was happy with his new job that wasn’t going to last. But I am happy if they just let me do it.

What you need to do is find something you enjoy outside of work. What you did was stupid, you need a job and you need money. From what you said youre already struggling to get by. Put in your ****ty 8 hours a day like the majority and avoid being miserable by having something you can lose yourself thinking about while doing your mindless job.. OR find a job that you enjoy that isnt volatile, where being flexible doesnt upset you so much.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face isn't honorable or whatever other positive thing you want to try and justify your behavior with. Youre just glorifying your self harm.

There's your real talk since no one else is going to say it.

There’s drawbacks to having my personality for sure but there have been incredible pluses

I’ve traveled more than almost anyone I know

I saw pretty much every great band of my generation

I’ve ****ed a lot of women way out of my league

I’ve quit and been fired from tons of jobs and the people who’ve lived lives like you’re describing that I know have done nothing interesting

I’ve lived in NYC, the West Coast - i traversed the Indian subcontinent and it’s all been predicated on my willingness to say **** this **** I’m out at the drop of a hat

Yeah I’m gonna die poor but your advice to be a boring loser doesn’t resonate with me

Thanks though

You don't have be boring, but if thats all you got from that good luck. People who live lives like you think im suggesting do so because they are uninspired boring people not because they said **** it with no plan.

OH you might want to check something like this out sometime:

https://www.flexjobs.com/About.aspx

I've met loads of people who make somewhere around 40k to 80k annually from a telecommuting / remote position, sometimes just sales oriented stuff, writing, customer service, whatever. Most of them basically have a laptop, a decent wi-fi connection at their local coffee place and sometimes a headset. I see it all the time.

Not saying its the golden ticket, but there are a lot more options in 2019 for these types of positions in the U.S. across multiple industries (even with minimal experience) than there were even five years ago.

No problem amigo. One I saw (for example) is $15/hr for what looks like some type of remote customer support position (probably website related, since they want someone who can read HTML or at least someone who is good at Googling for it lol).

Not the most amazing thing in the world, but the fact a job like that isn't being outsourced just shows you how starved a lot of companies are for people who can provide good customer service here in the U.S., who can speak English and actually talk to people.

$5 beers at a venue, not terrible. 16 oz?

last summer I paid $12 for a strawberrita
