I'm not unhappy, even a little. But wow am I surprised.

Thank you for not saying “we’re” pregnant

I guess that’s going to put some heat on getting the full time regular teaching job - but I’m sure it pays pretty good up there

Congrats - you seem like the type of person who’ll make a good dad

Hey, Jackie! You and I should get along nicely. I’m also queer and leftist.

I'm surprised, too.

Congrats. :)

Thanks, y’all.

And I’m bi. Happily married to a woman. Don’t mean I’m not still bi.

I hope I’m a good dad, OH. :)

Zhanteimi 02-28-2019 01:00 AM

Come on. Who's not bi these days?

I sort of feel like it’s a form of appropriation to self-identify as queer if you live a heterosexual lifestyle but I don’t know enough to say about you. In fact, I’m talking about myself. I’ve had trysts with men but never a boyfriend.

It’s definitely not appropriation. I wasn’t suicidal because I was appropriating homosexuality.

But PS- don’t put a label on yourself if it isn’t useful to you. The reason I identify as bi is that it is useful for me to identify the feelings that once scared me to death as a fundamentalist Christian teen in the Bible Belt. At the end of the day it’s just a word, but it’s a useful word to describe my life experience, even though I am in a monotonous relationship with a woman.

monotonous
I hope that's monogamous!

Yeah, I wasn’t raised religious so that’s one mind**** I missed.

Blarobbarg 02-28-2019 05:18 AM

Lol yeah that was supposed to say monogamous
