by week 2 you've been so corrupted by the other grill staff that you're spending 1/4th of your shift sneaking food.

Now imagine all the fun **** that happens when you work at a brewery.

Cut my hair. I always forget how weird I look when it's short.

We had the food handlers permit class. It was mostly servers and just a few kitchen workers. I was there early and reading a novel and the room filled up **** loads of hostesses waitresses and bussers. Like only one server in like 20 is black. In the kitchen it’s like 50/50 but except for one black guy the chefs and managers are all white. Anyway, the whole place fills up and no one sits anywhere near me. It happens to me anytime there’s something like this. No one ever chooses to sit near me ever unless every other seat is taken. I do smell but that’s not why. I guess it’s a vibe I give off. After the place filled three work release kitchen black dudes showed up and sat at my table since it was the only one left. Two of the work release guys sat on the same small chair next to each other like middle school girls. I’m almost jealous of the dudes from prison because they’re always super close friends. And like 90% of the work release inmates are so nice. This guy has prison tats all over his face but he’s the gentlest, friendliest dude. Seriously, people in prison, jails, and halfway houses are the nicest people. When they fight they are so brutal but if you don’t have any beef with them they’re way cooler than like your typical good looking wait staff worker. Btw, I was amazed at how quiet and attentive everyone was during the class. At teacher staff meetings we typically ignored the presentation.

I give off a similar vibe. Also 100% agreed on ex-cons, the ones that you should be scared of typically have their sentences extended for bad behaviour. What you have to worry about is the sociopaths, but they're more likely to rip you off than attack or straight up rob you or anything like that.

The sociopaths will try to rob you then try to make you feel guilty about it. Then manipulate the violently inclined people into thinking you're their enemy. Sociopaths are the worst.

I caught a play that a family member's production company put on called Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson this weekend and it was hilarious satirical musical reminiscent of The Book of Mormon (not sure which came first). Not that bloody but the lead actress was a ****ing incredible singer who I wish had more time on the stage and it was funny as hell. I recommend catching it if you can (it's also on YouTube). Hung out with the cast afterwards and drunkenly fell on one of the actresses in my usual display of classiness.

My dad asked me to be a pallbearer at my grandpas funeral. I got to do that for my grandma too and now I get to lay him down right next to her where I helped lie her down years ago. I still have the glove from hers.ill have to get them framed. They'll sleep in eternal rest right next to each other where they belong in this part of their life. They were married for 60+years. I can't recall the exact number.
