I just took the kind of evil s hit that only a old man can create. Even the roaches are disturbed.

Did you at least let them have it?

It was really hard af when I first started because I kept cramping up at work and then when I got in bed my body ****ing exploded with pain.

You're awesome O.C. Props.

And yeah, it really is just a matter of me getting myself physically used to it again. These 7 and 10 ft. aluminum exhaust pipes as I understand used to be steel back in the day according to some of the guys that have been in the trade for a few decades, a couple of older biker dudes. They told me that when they were steel they were heavier, and they were coated in grease. So the switch to aluminum made it a lot easier. You've got to wear gloves when dealing with this stuff though, it's like working with freshly cut sheet metal, only worse.

lol dudes in the restaurant have stories about the bad old days as well

They’ll be a line outside the door all day long. Damn near served every fish in the sea but the old timers will be like “I think we might be going out of business. I remember back when we were really busy.”

When I first started here where I work, I rode 35 miles each way. It'd take me about 1.5 to 2 hours, but I was desperate for money and I was sweeping up and doing some light welding, grinding, and DA work on steel. All that physical labor, then having to bike all the way home was a mother****er. I look back on it now and think yeah **** that.

Basically, and I was in decent shape. 70 mile bike rides were my usual workout back then. Just for fun I'd bike from my place to my parents about 40 miles away, work out, then bike back and have my Mom time me, but it still wore me tf out. I have a friend who bikes a century every day still, and he's in his 60's.

If I can't do it comfortably in sandals then it's not worth doing.

Your legs should have been like steel girders after only a few weeks of that lol

I'm thinking more of his firm, supple buttocks. Nobody thinks of how a bike works the ass.
