I feel like that took some ego to admit.

I lasted less than a day.

One time my friend cried and told me he wanted to quit smoking but couldn't. I was floored by his honesty and his struggle, because I didn't realize it was such a problem for people. I thought people could quit whenever they wanted, because I can have a cigarette when I'm drinking sometimes, but I never feel the urge to smoke every day.

I didn't know what to say, so I just listened.

My granddad died of lung cancer from smoking. My grandma quit decades ago but is still having breathing troubles today. It runs in the family and it sucks man. If you try again anytime soon you have my support.

I just don't have the will power and with the added fact that I really don't have anybody telling me not to do things like that just gives me more freedom to do it. But like I said, I basically smoke because it's something to do. As sad as that is. And it stuck.

Yeah same. I wish that was enough reason for me to quit but addictions suck. Plus I always smoke a cig before I smoke weed. It just feels right.

Give away your pack and try again.
