I got cancelled on a couple of weeks ago by a woman I've been seeing, but it was by text message letting me know that she had woke up sick the day before. Then, last night I got a call from her saying that she wanted to meet me at a bar/restaurant (with great food, btw), so I agreed and we met up. She said she had just gotten over what ever bug it was she had and she seemed honest about it, so I believe her. I watched her get a little buzzed while we ate and talked, since I'm not drinking lately and the progression was obvious. We were bf/gf back some 30 years ago, so I know how to make her laugh and we have a bit of history together and it was really relaxed and open. It was nice. At the end of it as we were leaving, she leaned in for a kiss but it landed on my cheek since I was thinking the whole time to not take advantage of things. I made sure she got home safely and we exchanged a few text messages before me telling her to have a good night, and she told me that she appreciated the way I handled things and made a promise to not drink the next time we get together. It was a good night and all, but every time I see this woman I manage to get a zit on my nose. Not sure how that plays into things other than maybe nerves. Second puberty? *shrug*
