happy saturday! i have nothing to do, so im looking responsible as hell by studying the whole courses of two of my classes. then going over all the math formulas briefly before i call it a day. got two pages wrote for my final essay thats gotta be 3-4, so im atleast half way there. just at the hard part of relating the movie to racism and stereotypes when there really wasnt much in the movie. why would you have negative stereotypes in a a movie called "Its a wonderful life" :cool: so maybe ill just add that into the essay at last ditch effort :o:


im going to be able to update my resume with "Strong Microsoft Office skills" such as word,excel, and powerpoint. i have all that stuff memorized. that part of the exam shouldnt be too bad now. ive studied the whole course 3 times, on my 4th.

Im thinking of buying that new Robert Greene book over winter break to warm up for my english 101 class where we'll be reading a bit more.

hey let me know if you need help i'm an expert at finding the racism in any/everything :D

would pointing out that its surprising an African American is cast as a train conductor in a movie released in 1947 ? the professor is African American also and really cool and id hate to point out race things it just make me racist because i thought of it? :o: i just thought it was interesting the train conductor was African American and theres only 4 African Americans in the whole movie.


one African American gave up her saving to help George at the end, a white person in the movie and i would have thought pre-civil rights movement that a African American wouldnt think to "give" back there money they are making to a white person. just thought that was also surprising because it shows that both races are deeply connected in friendship pre-civil rights movement :cool:

im not sure if i should add those two above situations to my essay because i dont want to be racist for pointing them out. I was supposed to look at the movie in a critical eye with race in mind.
