Get a notebook and voice recorder [if you have one] and ask him any and all questions that you can think of about his life or about which you would like some advice from him. You'll thank yourself later. Trust me on this one.

Sorry to hear about the myocardial infarction. It's amazing that you grandfather has lived to be 99 years old! Hope everything works out man. Hang in there.

Thanks dudes. Not a bad idea Merit. I may do that.

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, Kiii.

Great idea from Merit too. I'd love to able to play back my Grandfathers voice. We have some Super 8 film, but no sound.

I went and saw him today and he was noticeably weak. They say his body is basically starting to die. His voice was slurred so I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

Second what Plank said, very good idea Merit.

Thoughts with you Ki. Sorry to hear about this.

Yeah, I second this. I'm not currently on meds, but during a really dark place a few years back I got on antidepressants and they very literally saved my life. I'm not the kind of person who thinks that a pill is always the answer to everything, but sometimes they're needed.

what do you think about that mindfulness

You should listen to the Empty Bowl podcast. It comes out every other week, and it's literally a podcast all about cereal... except it's supposed to be meditative, and they insert wave sounds into the background for maximum relaxation. I kinda love it. Super good if you're trying to fall asleep or just need to feel not anxious for thirty minutes.
