Srsly though nerd culture has basically become pop culture at this point. The biggest movies often of all-time are comic book, sci fi, and fantasy movies. Television has been seriously infiltrated by CW DC shows, Netflix Marvel shows, and mother****ing Game of Thrones.

I think the world is finally admitting what nerds have known all along: our **** is vastly cooler than your **** and movies and shows have to be of a ridiculously high quality to even compete.
