Was doing dishes last night when a hose under the sink decided to explode and spray water everywhere. Spent 2 hours trying to fix it, and pretty sure I just made it worse. Had to wait around all day today for a handy man to come replace the faucet. Thankfully, my landlord covered the bill.

There's nothing quite like getting a flat tire on a Sunday when the bike shop is closed to put the cap on a work day.

I played a tags round with the DG club this morning while I had a roast going in the crock. The smells when I got home are orgasmic. Only 2 more hours left. This is torture.

Walp. I hate naps, but I just took a two hour one.

The rest of that beef roast is now BBQ sauced up. Sweet Baby Rays... baby.

You should look into airless / tubeless tires. I am thinking about getting some for my son's bike. They cost more, but will undoubtedly pay for themselves in the long run. The fact that we're not utilizing this technology for automobiles pisses me off.

Spoiler for PICS:

This morning a teacher asked me to help him with a program he needed to get running. Some old Bingo program that he uses 1 time every year for a co-worker christmas gathering.

Turns out it ran in MS-DOS! Apparently there used to be an old computer somewhere that the previous IT guy would dig out for him every year. I just installed DOSBox on a Windows 10 computer instead and mounted everything so all the teacher has to do is click a desktop shortcut

If I've got an excellent program that I'm used to, then I'm also really difficult to move over to something more modern.

I really hope that this old graphics program I've got called Paint Shop 8 will work when I find a way to get it installed on my disc-drive free Windows 10 laptop. It's an XP era program, but I like using it much more than Photoshop and other similar programs.

The idiot isn't even used to it. Didn't even know they were using DOS.

I got really accustomed to using a DOS point of sale system at an old job, my coworkers always complained about it but imo it's very intuitive.
