That sucks OH. Eggs and cheese are really the products breaking the budget at the seafood joint?

We some menu items free. Burgers, chicken, many types of salad, or sushi rolls.

But yeah no eggs cheese or bacon and obviously no fish.

The thing is we weren’t really exploiting the policy - the amount of cheese we use is tiny compared to what they have - basically we just make do with the scraps.

The thing is the cooks enjoy making nice meals for each other and it goes a long way towards morale and camaraderie. Honestly, we were pretty modest in the ingredients we chose.

It isn’t really the food. It’s just I want so bad to feel joy at work. Really enjoy the hell out out small things. I don’t know being so regimented all the time makes me feel like life isn’t worth living.

When you know your employers don't value you enough to not treat you like an inmate you start to feel like an inmate.
