It's like the honest mistake perfect storm of smiling while grabbing your ankles.
if they admitted your actual hours were right and that they were going to correct them, could this just be an administrative error? Like what happens if you go to your boss and say it was not fixed?

I had a wrong paycheck a few months ago too. I happen to talk a lot to some people in management and know how much pressure they're under. Understaffed big time, so **** happens.

I noticed my hours were off the first time on Sunday at 11am. The manager on duty said she would call the store manager. I came in to work the next day at 6am and the store manager said that my hours had been fixed. So for me to believe this **** the first manager would have had to forget to fix my hours but still call my store manager to tell him that they had been all in the space of 19 hours.

And I did tell my boss and they have been basically fixed, in a way that gives me my money but doesn't technically qualify as overtime so he doesn't get bitched out by his boss.

He said it had been fixed, which quite possibly really meant "it's been handed off to a guy who will fix it". Then the manager in question forgets about it and goes back to worrying about some of all the other stuff that breathes down his neck and forgets to follow up.

I don't know, just sounds plausible enough.

But if it happens again, I'd be vigilant about it.
