I heard that film sucks, just a grab for social security checks.

It's entertaining but just felt phony as hell to me. Reading up on it, I'm not wrong either.

I didn't think it was horrible and I ****ing hate Queen. It was at time annoyingly indulgent towards Mercury, but part of me is glad that it wasn't just a giant music video like the trailers kept making it out to be. It was fairly standard and didn't blow my socks off, nor did it convince me to like Queen.

One thing that stood out to me was how much Joseph Mazzello looked like John Deacon. **** was scary.

I totally agree. What annoyed me the most was the part where they linger on the record exec on the "you are the losers" lyric. If that guy was actually real (he wasn't, that guy was completely fabricated and played by Mike Myers making that one line funnier) he wasn't necessarily a loser. He was still rich and still had plenty of successful artists under his belt. Things like that were just superbly annoying and indulgent to me personally.

Same. I went in expecting to be bored by it and ended up pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it.

OccultHawk 11-12-2018 05:08 AM

I plan to enjoy the time I spend not watching it.

No. I don’t blow smoke in her face or anything like that. I think that’s abusive. But we’re synched up telepathically so she just becomes high when I am. She transmits clearer messages the higher I get. The only things she ever told me was that she loves me and that what appears to me as multiple organisms is really just one organism. When she hangs out with her best dog buddy they’re not two dogs like it seems to me but a dog pack (even just two) is a single organism. I’m not saying she’s right but that’s what she told me. She does not have a distinct sense of self in a group. She might understand that I suffer from not being able to see myself as part of a collective, tribe, or hive mind but she didn’t tell me that. I can’t ask her questions. I only know how to tell her I love her.
