ftr I think most Mexican places divide the tips up with kitchen staff and everyone

Speaking of tipping, what with the new thing at fast food places where they turn the register screen towards you and give you the option to add a tip to your order? Tips are suppose to be about service. Punching a few keys on a screen is not exactly service. Same thing is happening when you order take out online.

i tip 2.00$ at the place i buy food at for my family on wedsneday or sundays when i eat there. its a local business and i only order food from a place about twice a month.

---
already got my outline semi-written for my midterm speech on how to make stuffed shells :) its going to to be about 6-7 minutes i predict but i dont think its going to be that bad. i have to make 8 steps on how to make it, 4 minutes long and i dont think im going to be able to do that just talking. im going to bring visual aids to help, like the un-cooked shells and and the stuff to make it and just pretend im making it in front of the class to help maybe keep them focused.

---

i honestly try to come here and banter about music by posting songs i like :o:

**** off, neo-liberal scum. If you don't value us then you can make your own damn food.

I tip generously anywhere I go. If the service is bad I tell them so, but most of the time it's not.

Also lmao @ the assumption Mexican restaurant employees are all undocumented

The Batlord 10-06-2018 10:07 AM

I'd tip regardless. Even if they suck they still gotta pay rent and it's not gonna make me feel like a better person for giving them the shaft.

Yup. I know people who don't tip at a buffet 'cause "I did all the serving."
Really, asshole? Someone had to initially order and then make your damn food -
plus had to clean up after your nasty ass.

Actually, since I don't really eat fast food, I'm more inclined to tip by the hour -
how much time did I take up at your table - so the tips are larger than normal.

is only @$23 for the half brickini and a small cheese pizza, and i tip for it to be 25 something. wow, didnt know that asked for a tip at a fast food place, id actually leave and go someone else because once i told them i didnt want to tip, theyed treat my food like ****. sorry the batlord, id of course tip well at yours if i lived near ya and went there and stuff. :o: and id only tip in a fast place place if the money actually went to the worker and not a store

Good man. I know tipping isn't a thing in Europe but it is here and the only people who don't do it are twats like Merit.

We don't got that **** here so I have no idea how it works nor had I even heard of it. But, bruh, why would you tell the people serving you food that you don't want to tip them? Of course they're going to treat you like ****. Just tip them a couple bucks and never come back.

Srsly though if you've never worked at a fast food joint and don't know how miserable and stressful it is then maybe you should just take my word for it and tip cause you don't want to maybe be an *******.

WWWP 10-06-2018 10:28 AM

I've never seen a fast food place ask for or even accept tips. Sounds like maybe a square register in which case it's just a built-in function?
