Why would you even do that? Toasted PB&J's are the only way, but you just toast the bread beforehand.

Exactly. His wife was out of town and he was kitchen illiterate (STUPID). When he came back to work a couple of days later the guy could barely speak. When he showed me the damage to his mouth I cringed so hard it almost hurt.

WTF. Just toast the bread and then apply the peanut butter and jelly as normal. There's absolutely no burning involved. You even have to do it quick so it doesn't get cold. Nothing molten. If you don't know what I'm talking about then toast some bread and then make a PB&J like normal. It'll be fine.
