Thanks Frowny. I didn't have that level of detail.

Hi. I have $100,000 in my mattress. Could you loan me $90,000 and I’ll send you the mattress later? And post pictures of your half of the ninety online. Thanks.

That's 50,000 boxes of the ****. A box for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for almost 46 years straight.

I will have to raid the Monopoly game in my closet. Give me a second.

Thanks to the patriot act, it needs a clear paper trail which takes a crazy amount of extra work for cash.

What Are Seasoned Funds for Your Down Payment?

I know $10,000 deposits have to be reported but banks also report multiple deposits just under $10,000.

Anytime. 50% of my job right now is writing about loans.

Yup. If there's even a hint that something could be from money laundering, most places won't touch it because there are no protections in place for unknowingly accepting laundered money and that's less profit.

I wonder why Chula’s family members have $100,000 in cash...

And even if the money isn’t laundered I wonder if it’s smart to post about it on a forum with pictures of the money and the family members. I wonder if that could cause a problem.

It sounds like Chula is working with an adviser on this. Not that advisers don't ever **** people over, but he's probably doing it with all of the appropriate documentation and all that.

I thought I had seen it all when he wrote in full detail about an ongoing lawsuit, but this is right up there. I visit some investment forums from time to time, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone post a picture of real money like that. And on a burner music forum.

Chula man, you're an interesting cat, but I wouldn't post what you post. Godspeed anyway, though.

So there's really no reason to get around the $10,000 reporting requirement if it's all legit, other than a lot of headache answering questions and such.

OK

Do you think the advisor recommended mentioning that there’s $100,000, unseasoned (thanks for the new vocabulary), and this is a workaround plan to account for money that banks would otherwise consider suspect with photos on a forum?

You’re getting into this field you say. Would that be your advice?
