I'm like, not even 100% opposed but omg so much eyerolling

Imagine what it's like when much of your personal beliefs are anti the notion of safe spaces.

"The professor can't call on me if my hand isn't raised."

"No gossiping about one another outside of class."

"Accept everyone's opinions always."

Yeesh.

I swear to ****ing God if I was in a class and was asked how to keep it a safe space I’d say go back to the days of segregation

For what college costs these days they can suck my dick

Even wasting time on any kind of procedural orientation is bull****

Get into the subject matter mother****er

What ****ing business is of yours wtf I do outside of class? What are you? My ****ing grandma?

Accept everyone's opinions always
Yeah. Except that’s the direct opposite of what intellectual endeavors are about. You should expect your opinions to be challenged and crushed. That’s how you learn.

I could have done without the long thing about how important diversity is.
WTF does that have to do with anything?

That’s some sorry ass ****.

The funny part is that she was talking about how important diversity is to our success in the workforce...

If I measure success by how much money I make, then how the hell does hiring a black guy help me become more succesful!

You can create an environment of respect without safe spaces.

Key 09-06-2018 12:28 AM

There's an environment of respect in my pants and you're all invited.

I don't understand

The babying language and labeling as such isn't necessary. Probably a lack of male teachers is also the problem, let's be honest. You want to risk calling someone a name you shouldn't, get decked, son. But we don't allow that. There are legit problems, but I think we've made a lot of progress. I don't see it overtly in the workforce. However, if you think people are nice in the workforce, I got some bad news for you (you as a general, not you you).
