Absolute worst day. Almost every other customer I dealt with today was in a bad mood and decided to take it out on me. Luckily I kept my cool through all of it. The ****ty part is a lady decided to not only email the store I work at about a negative experience she had with me, but she was also completely wrong in most of what she said.
And now I have to explain to my boss that I legit have no idea where she pulled what she said. She even twisted certain things I said to be against me.
I'm ****ing irritated because I've been working hard on keeping my cool and not getting upset and then I do my job right, and someone gets mad. I never win.
I'm mentally clocking out for today so...

Sorry to kick you when you're down, but I can't help reminding you about when you told everyone how much you loved your job. :laughing:
It'll be fine: you got a witness, so it's not just your word against the customer's, which normally would be bad for you.
