Waffles or Flapjacks? Pancakes are another thing entirely, let's not even go there. |
^I'll take cold pizza.
Ledgestone is in the books. I had back problems all week which I've nailed down to having some form of gout from being bit by that ****ing spider... and still no super powers, dammit. I was wincing on just about every throw, and having to stand and just use my arm with no run-up and X-Step took a LOT out of my drives, but I wasn't taking a DNF. No, no ,no. Absolutely not. I found myself in last place after the 2nd round, so I went into the 3rd and final round with 'not finishing last' as my only resolution and mantra. I walked away with a 26th place finish out of 30. Bad back and all. Got some neat prizes too. |

The big one I know of for the USA market is DraftKings, which is fantasy sports. I'm not a gambler myself outside of the occasional lottery ticket, so I don't do sports betting, currently. I thought the recent ruling on sports betting was interesting so I've been keeping up with that. That said, while fantasy sports never did it for me, I will be more open to placing some bets when it's real games with real outcomes; where it's all legit no nonsense. Right now I am following, very specifically, a company that is producing one of these apps, so I will at least download that one and give it a try. |

However, there are differences between the 3. For example, in the United Kingdom, the term "flapjack" refers to something made from sugar, butter, and oats, and is usually served with honey. While a pancake, is fried batter made from eggs, buttermilk, and flour. A hotcake is typically the closest thing to a pancake, with the only difference being that a hotcake is smaller and thinner, meaning you cannot really fill a hotcake with anything the way you can fill a pancake. |
Fill? Like Amsterdam pancake style?

100% into the new place and out of the old. I'm going to slip into a coma for the next few days and try to physically recover (my back, neck, shoulders, etc. are ****ing toast).
Linda and I are still getting along great even with all of the stress from the move. We'd definitely forgotten how to compromise, along with knowing when it's time to simply bite your damn lip to eliminate stupid conflict. |
