I had this argument with my friend about SJWs and how he's blaming all the problems in the world on SJWs and saying that Marvel has taken this huge plummet in sales and comic shops aren't selling as much Marvel stuff and that they are selling more indie comics because SJWs are forcing diversity in the comics and that this is causing them to pull out of comic cons, which according to what I read is not completely factual and is an unfair conclusion brought out by anti-diversity trolls, and I almost blew up on him not because he was jumping to unfair finger pointing, ironically divisive conclusions, but because he told me he got HIV from being raped by a bunch of refugees in Las Vegas. Now he's telling me he got raped by 3 black dudes telling him, "I got your white privilege right here" saying that is SJWs that are causing this.

Blame capitalism and the fact that Marvel is an entity that will do whatever is popular to make money. A strange idea to blame the customer/potential customer.

Single issue sales are down mostly because dgital comics and trade paperbacks are selling more than ever. People don't want to bag and board a jillion issues anymore, especially since nobody these days has any illusions about comic book collecting being some sort of lucrative investment.

I'm one of these people. If I ever buy any comic that has been published in single issues, there's no way I'm not going with a collected volume. I can wait until it's done, too.
