Ok well the number of games I'll be playing on it is about zero

I didn't buy a HP again when I got my second and third laptops because my first one was a HP that fried it's own motherboard due to not being able to cool itself enough. I got it repaired since it was within warranty, but I've got it on low performance settings these days to avoid it running white hot.
They probably learned from their mistakes, but that particular model was known for being able to run too hot. I killed it by playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on it. Too much for the poor thing.

My HP laptop overheated and crashed in the middle of a multimedia performance I was giving at an experimental music event in my city a few years ago. Their timing is godawful.
As for my day, I just got back into town last night from my trip to attend the Hackers On Planet Earth conference in Manhattan with a few friends. Saw some great talks and workshops, took in the city, and now I'm glad to be home to recharge.

... turning me off HP!

I'm in pain from a stiff neck which I'm not sure if it was a manifestation from the spider bite I received last Thurs/Friday or I just slept wrong last Thursday night. They seem to be related since it's been ongoing since Friday morning. It's loosening up, but still sore.
Not sure if I should tough it out and hit a course today after work, but I haven't been outside all weekend because of the itching, swelling, fever and delirium (and neck pain possibly) from ^said spider bite. I have a tournament this weekend and Ledgestone is coming up soon. I need to keep my game on point and it's perfect disc golf weather today.

I'm an ASUS laptop fan for life. I've owned 3 of them. Only reason being that I kept upgrading to a larger screen. My current one is 17". Linda has my 15" and Mike my 13". All three continue to work flawlessly.
Got my umbrella base. Gotta work on the alignment.....
P.S. The car condom is because between my shade trees shedding like crazy and the desert dirt/dust thing, it's impossible to keep the Xterra clean.

ASUS eh? I had an ASUS, years ago. It was ****, but then, it was ****. Terrible specs. Very slow. 1 gig memory if I remember. Spent a lot of time looking at the clock, waiting...

He's converted.

So, a lap tray or something?
