Felt oddly depressed earlier today for no apparent reason. Spent a few hours just sleeping, waking, staring into the ceiling, sleeping, [repeat].

You need some of what I'm drinking. I'm sipping on an aged glass of perpetual numbness with a subtle hint of realizing that I will always be this way.

I live two stories above an epic drunk, btw. Sometimes when I go down the stairwell, he's got a huge stack of freshly bought beer cans stacked up. Like 6-8 full boxes of 20 or so cans. He lifts them in to his apartment one box a time, but mostly, he leaves a whole bunch of them out there for hours. My theory is that he drinks a few when all the lifting has him exhausted, then naps for a few hours (or passes out, what do I know?). He's a nice enough guy, really, but I don't hope that's my future. Or yours.
