That's wicked cool. I've always wanted to revive the tradition of writing actual letters to people. But I don't know anyone who'd give a crap and appreciate the concept.

Woohoo! I was cleared for cancer this week! Last week I was told there was a good chance I had some faulty passed down gene that would more than 10x my chance of cancer (in the head!) The preliminary tests have come back fine! Yay for me!! They're not finished yet, but it's all lookin' pretty good!

Sorry to hear about your friend Mikey.
My best friend was killed, aged 17.

I still think of him on a regular basis and often wonder what his life would have been like had he lived.
At 17 your life is only just beginning.
I remember being very angry at everything when he died.
