I played a round at our clubs home course yesterday and went -11 under par. If it wasn't for one bogey on the hardest hole I would have scored a personal best. Bogey free is the way to be.
Speaking of that hole, I remember when they put the tree's in that guard the basket some 15 years ago, they were just saplings and you could easily throw over them. I was thinking that once they grow a bit that hole would be a bitch. Now, it's a mother****er to get a disc to thread one of those lines between the tree's, or you lay up down the middle and upshot for a long 2 if you're putting is strong, but more or less you take a 3. I've only threaded that line a few times and parked it under the basket, and when I tried last night, I failed horribly. My upshot also hit a tree and I was finally in for a 4. Some people throw thumbers or tomahawk over, but I have injuries that screw that all up for me. This hole will separate the champs from the chumps. I chumped it up good. https://i.imgur.com/E1Eh7Fy.jpg |

So I ended up in the bathroom every 30 minutes all the way until just after 3:00AM.
Seems my drinking water or milk right before getting sick is a VERY BAD idea with some stomach bugs. My stomach was trying to purge every last bit of its contents and I kept pouring **** back into it. Stupid me. Finally stopped the liquids entirely, threw up a couple more times, then dry heaved a few times and it was all over. Waited an hour then started sipping 7UP to get some sugar in me, now I'm drinking a ton of ice water to re-hydrate and it's all staying down with zero nausea. Lesson learned. The very hard way. |
