i betrayed my moral compass and went to a zoo yesterday. it was awful and everything looked so depressing. except for the goats, they were cute. aside from that i just tried to keep my mouth shut and not totally ruin my girlfriend’s time. but i definitely don’t plan on doing that again anytime soon.

I went to a zoo in Portugal and it seemed like they took care of the animals a lot better than they do here. I saw a dolphin show and was conflicted because they looked happy but they existed to do f*cking tricks which pissed me off. I was also on acid the whole time so my brain was all over the map but yeah zoos are weird for me too.

I grew up going to the zoo on a regular basis so I have a fondness for them.
