TH, putting a face to the story makes it all the more sad. horrible that she has had to go through all this but it’s great that you have each other, and that you are so willing to help her through it.

She's given her permission, so I guess it's time you all saw the love of my life. This is Karen when she was maybe 18 or 20. She doesn't want pictures of her as she is now posted, for obvious reasons, though she's still beautiful to me, and always will be. But this is the face that broke so many hearts in her youth.

FYI in picture one, the woman in the middle is my Auntie Eileen, who passed away last year, and in picture two, that's my mam, who died over 25 years ago.
