Returned the 214CE and upgraded to an 814CE. The 214 had laminated back and sides and just sounded a bit too stiff and very strident in the high end. The 814 has solid rosewood back and sides along with a mahogany neck. Much more even and warm. Still needs some breaking in though, as do all new acoustics.

I'll just pound the **** out of it for 5 minutes before putting it away every night.
