Around 3AM I discovered that my server went down, then worked out that I had a Java memory leak, and that my database was corrupted. Spent from 3 to 6:45AM debugging and troubleshooting the issue. Had the server back online at 6:45 and made it out the door for work on time at 6:50. It felt amazing.

I've also been working to reset my circadian rhythm. If I can make it through work and turn in at 11 tonight I'll have been up for 42 hours straight but will be back to a normal sleep schedule for the first time since evicting my nightmare tenants.

If I were rich I’d coincide mother’s day with no-reproduction day. I’d have free limos and private jets to fly people to world class medical centers to get abortions, tubal ligations, and vasectomies. After following through with the free procedure you’d be set up for a week in a fancy hotel with a $200 budget for room service everyday then, of course, return transportation.
