Many who attempt suicide end up grateful that they failed.

But yeah, you can look at it from several angles.

Except depression is a clinical issue that doesn't just go away. It hides til its ready to strike again randomly.

Yea, there's no shot at redemption if you succeed. It's hard to judge suicide though cause people don't always show how dark the circumstances are in their life.

So will the relatives and family of the suicidal person.

No, they won't. They'll move on with their lives but they won't get over it.

Fully over it.

Or maybe they won't. I don't think it's anyone's place to be telling someone who just put away that bottle of aspirin or took a ****ing gun out of their mouth what they're going to feel afterward. That's heavy **** to have to deal with. Maybe twenty years down the line they'll just be wishing they hadn't had to suffer for two more decades.

If someone can get over a medical condition like depression then their acquaintances can get over life events.

Oh, your point was sarcasm. Never mind.

Yeah I know, if you're clinically depressed, you can't just "happy thoughts" your way out of it.

I'm just saying that, to whatever small degree, it sometimes helps to avoid obsessively negative thoughts. Depends on exactly how and to what extent you're feeling down/prone to feeling down.

You can either try or you can forego any chance of getting better. If you're in deep enough, your mental illness might make the choice for you. I'm always going to say that if there's any real choice, choose life.
