The beaches that were soaked in oil and then covered in tar balls are now apparently pristine.

Obviously I have no idea what’s way out there in the gulf but I didn’t think the beaches would ever be back to normal but they are.

They say that oil never hit US beaches but that’s not how I remember it. That **** left residue on the beaches for years.

So I got a customer complaint for using profanity at work today and my boss told me that if it turns into a written complaint that he's going to have to fire me. Okay fine. You do what you gotta do, bro. Then after work while I'm eating in the dining room he sits down and gives me this whole spiel about being professional and how I'm giving the "perception" that I say whatever the **** I want and that it shows a lack of respect to him and blah blah blah. Okay fine.

Only after he was done and went back into the kitchen did it hit me that yesterday his mother pulled into the driver-thru and he didn't know it was her. She said something that sounded kind of rude or something and then drove through to the window, to which my manager responded by loudly calling her a bitch. This is also not the only time he has ever done things like that, even if he doesn't do it as much as me.

After I was done eating I went back to the kitchen to have a nice reasonable discussion with him about what a self-righteous hypocrite he, because I am not about to eat a **** sandwich with a smile, but of course he'd gone to the bank. I wasn't about to wait around so I went home and now I have to wait till tomorrow to talk to him. ****ing jobs.

Fast food jobs are so stigmatized coming out with a good work history and references doesn’t outweigh the blight of doing it for too long. Manager or whatever. Not trying to dis bat or anyone just saying how it is. Having five years of Burger King on your resume is only slightly better than five years in prison.

It’s unfair but true. A potential employer sees that on resume and it’s like wtf is wrong with this tard?

1. Of course he's gonna bull****, but **** him he has a pattern of this kind of ****. Like how he strolls into work at half past whenever-the-****-he-wants but bitches at me for being ten minutes late.

2. Considering that even at the time he acknowledged that he shouted "Bitch!" and it was only yesterday I imagine even he will have a hard time denying it.

3. If he fires me then I'm not going to lose any sleep over a job where I have to deal with that ****. Believe it or not I actually do have a small amount of dignity I'm not willing to give up.

Up to you man but this seems like the kinda stuff most bosses do. If the guy is not a major douche pulling this kinda stuff all the time you should just let it slide.

Frownland 04-20-2018 10:53 AM

From what I gather from Bat's diligent reporting, he is a douche who is pulling this kinda stuff all the time.

I don't give a **** if he wants to discipline me for something that could endanger his job, I do give a **** that he's consistently a self-righteous prick about things like this. He is not my first boss so I know full well that this is in fact unprofessional bull****.
